Hotel San Luis Obispo
Hotel San Luis Obispo is a modern urban resort that embodies the essence of SLO. Featuring Piadina and Ox + Anchor – two on-site restaurants; three bars including a rooftop lounge with a bocce ball court; social gathering and meeting facilities; Sol Spa – a full service spa; and luxurious pool and jacuzzi area.
I had the pleasure of being a part of Hotel San Luis Obispo from the ground up. I was a key team member during the pre-opening phase a year+ before opening, and worked closely with Hotel owners, architectural design firm Gensler, web developer, and other teams to bring this Hotel from concept to creation.

Pre-Opening Phase
Being a part of the pre-opening team at Hotel SLO was the most rewarding experience that taught me so much. I was the first employee brought onto the project a whole year before the Hotel opening. I worked rigorously and closely with the Hotel Owners, architectural design firm architects and designers from Gensler, Sales and Marketing Director, and General Manager, on the

I have collaborated with the architectural group Gensler on exterior and interior design selections for Hotel courtyard, rooftop bar, lobby, restaurants, spa, meeting spaces, guest rooms, and all surrounding areas. I worked closely with the web developer and Hotel owners from the concept to the creation of the Hotel website which consisted of the design aesthetic, brand voice, and overall user experience. Following that, I managed the website with the web developer and updated it accordingly

Print graphic design
Below are some print graphic design projects that I created corresponding to various brands’ color palettes, fonts, and aesthetic. I designed all layouts using various adobe software, hand selected images that best fit promotional material, and wrote creative copy.
Hotel Offers and Happenings.
I developed various Hotel offerings, meeting packages, and special event packages. In addition, I thoughtfully wrote all creative copy. In addition to, I developed Hotel Happenings page on Hotel website consisting of events held on property. I worked with web developer on creating website layout design, functionality, and overall user experience. I thoughtfully wrote headlines, creative copy, and selected images.
Social Media Management
When I first brought on to this project, the Hotel SLO Instagram had about 100 followers, during my time there I grew the social media following to 10,000 are some examples of social media accounts that I managed and did content creation for various brands. I strategized and executed monthly content flow that reflected product launches, campaigns, and monthly themes, in addition to increasing social media engagement and enhancing website traffic through compelling imagery, storytelling, and appealing content.
